The Searcy Arkansas chapter of Junior Auxiliary was chartered in 1962 with a few ladies who desired to make a difference by meeting the needs of our community with a special focus on children. Today, our mission remains the same. 

 

Every year, the members of Junior Auxiliary of Searcy provide coats, underwear, and school supplies to children in need. With the help of our local schools, we are able to provide families with food at Thanksgiving through our Food Basket project.  We are also able to give children, who would otherwise go without, a wonderful Christmas through Angel Tree.  The Sunshine School, which was originally started by Junior Auxiliary of Searcy, is the heart and soul of our organization.  We help the school and its teachers throughout the year by hosting a Halloween Carnival, Easter Egg Hunt, Birthday Parties and assisting with their Summer Day Camp.
